Valkyrie Azure Revolution Gets Changes to be More RPG-Like

In the most recent issue of Famitsu Weekly, director Takeshi Ozawa revealed changes being made to Valkyrie: Azure Revolution due to feedback from the Battle Demo Ver 1.0 that was released earlier with the Valkyria Chronicle Remastered game in Japan.

In this interview Ozawa notes that there were many harsh opinions regarding the demo and one of the elements changed is the battle system which has been retooled to resemble something closer to what you’d find in a RPG and adding more tactical elements as well. Other changes include the removal of field encounters, the option to stop time when choosing magic and weapons and the in-battle party size has been increased from three to four.

With this interview was also an announcement of a new demo scheduled for this summer.
