The Witcher 3 Patch 1.20 Arrives in Time for Blood and Wine Expansion

With the next Witcher 3 expansion set to release next week, developer CD Projekt RED has begun to roll out the newest patch for the game. The patch, which is available now for Xbox One, contains over eighty different changes, from simple quality of life improvements to visual and gameplay tweaks, along with a few bug fixes.

Some of the more notable fixes include a proper way to track down missing Gwent cards, which should help facilitate the completion of the “Collect ‘Em All” quest. With the newest patch installed, a book titled “A Miraculous Guide to Gwent” can be obtained, which displays the number of missing Gwent cards from the player’s collection, along with information on where the missing cards can be found. To help even more, the Collect ‘Em All Quest will now be marked as failed, if the player does not collect the Milva, Vampire Bruxa, and Dandelion cards during the in-game Gwent tournament.

Patch 1.20 can be downloaded now on Xbox One, which takes up 2.9 GB of hard drive space. The PS4 and PC versions of the patch are expected to roll out soon. The full patch notes can be found here.
