Cosmic Star Heroine Receives a Summer Release Date and E3 Trailer

Ever since its highly successful Kickstarter campaign back in October 2013, RPG fans everywhere have been eagerly anticipating the release of Cosmic Star Heroine quite a bit, especially given developer Zeboyd Games’ reputation for developing old-school, retro-styled RPGs of a high quality. And now the finish line is in sight, as the dev team announced through the official PlayStation Blog today that the game will be released this summer, showing off a new trailer for E3 2016 alongside the news, which you can view below.

While no specific release date has been announced yet, nor was there any news on whether or not the PC version will have a similar release window, we did also learn that the PlayStation version will be a cross-buy purchase for both the PS4 and Vita, and will carry a cost of $14.99. Alyssa’s 16-bit sci-fi spy adventures look like they shall indeed be worth the money, but we’ll look into offering you all a more detailed report at Hardcore Gamer when we get to spend more time with the game next month, so stay tuned.
