The Western release of Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force is finally drawing near. For mecha fans in the West, this marks a rare occasion that a video game adaptation of the popular, long-running Mobile Suit Gundam mecha anime franchise has been localized. Specifically, the Extreme Vs. series of games are fast-paced 3D fighting games featuring some of the most iconic robots from the various Gundam series. Extreme Vs. Force is a portable iteration but most Extreme Vs. games start in arcade before making their way to consoles. The localized version of Extreme Vs. Force will also include all the DLC and updates the Japanese version has received thus far. These means it will include the latest mobile suits added to the game, such as the ASW-G-08 Gundam “Barbatos” and the GN-0000 “00” Gundam.
See the Character and Battle trailer for the localized version of Extreme Vs. Force below. Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force will be digital only on July 12, for PlayStation Vita.
