XCOM 2 Coming to PS4, Xbox One in September

Despite Firaxis Games’ hesitation to release XCOM 2 on consoles, it looks like the Baltimore-based studio has finally broke. While it was initially announced as a PC exclusive, rumored to be because the PC version of Enemy Unknown sold exponentially better than its console counterparts, 2K Games has announced today that console players will be able to enjoy the hardcore strategy shooter later this year.

Released in February of this year, XCOM 2 was released to fairly positive reviews, despite there being a number of glaring technical issues. Over the time, Firaxis Games has smoothed things out, which hopefully will transfer over nicely to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it lands at the end of summer on September 6.
