What better time to release a trailer for a video game than during E3? For Bandai Namco, their lineup of wouldn’t be complete without a Tales game, and it looks like Berseria is filling that void. The Japanese based company has released a new trailer for the upcoming RPG that’s still a ways off from release.
The trailer itself is entirely in Japanese, although Bandai Namco was nice enough to subtitle it throughout. It’s very much a cinematic trailer as there’s no gameplay to be found, but a lot of in-game cutscenes and some anime drawn scenes, as well. Bandai Namco has also confirmed that the Japanese opening song will be intact in the localized version, something that was a big talking point in Tales of Zestiria.
Tales of Berseria will be released in Japan on August 18, with a North American and European release on PS4 and PC set for early 2017.
