NA LCS Summer Split Week 3 Day 3 Predictions

It’s the last day of the week for some NA League of Legends and much like yesterday we’ve got a pretty straightforward day ahead of us. Here’s the standings going in.

1. Team SoloMid (5-0)

2. Immortals, Team EnVy (4-1)

4. Cloud9, Apex (3-2)

6. Liquid (3-3)

7. Counter Logic Gaming (2-3)

8. Echo Fox, NRG Esports (1-4)

10. Phoenix1 (0-6)

Not much has changed other than CLG breaking from the pack and EnVy dropping out of first. After today things should pretty much continue to look the same going into Friday of next week. Predicted winners are represented in bold. (Overall: 12-4)

  • NRG vs TSM
  • Apex vs C9
  • Echo Fox vs IMT
  • CLG vs EnVy

TSM have been playing lights out so far only dropping two games to C9 and IMT, but winning overall in both matches. With NRG playing nowhere near the caliber of those teams this shouldn’t pose too much of a problem.

Apex and C9 should be a good game and this is where the standings shakeup will come in. C9 will more than likely run this one three games again but per usual will come out on top. They’ve done an amazing job adjusting and playing series’ this split.

Echo have found themselves in a skid as of late. They haven’t been able to find any solid footing as this split has gone along and against IMT that’s going to be a problem. IMT have come out this split much like last and have taken it to every team they’ve faced. This should be much of the same.

Unlike Echo CLG have found their winning ways and managed to string a few together. Unfortunately they’re facing EnVy who, until now, were tied for first and playing really well. They just lost to IMT, but barring any odd mistakes–like Seraph running AP runes on Trundle again–they’ll be able to take care of business and come out with a win.

Things kick off tonight at 2 p.m. CDT and can be watched here.
