Making his debut appearance in the Dragon Ball video game franchise, Grammy award winning DJ Steve Aoki will be lending his musical talents to Bandai Namco for their upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. He will be doing remixes of select Dragon Ball songs and themes such as ‘Cha-La Head-Cha-La’ and ‘We Gotta Power’. Not only this, but he will also appear as an NPC that players will be able to interact with in the hub city of Conton, making his first physical appearance in the game series as well.
“Having grown up with Dragon Ball, I jumped at the chance to contribute my talents and leave my personal impact on the series,” said the artist about his collaboration with the popular series.
On the topic of Aoki’s addition to the game, Bandai Namco Vice President of Marketing Eric Hartness stated, “Dragon Ball Xenovrse 2 is shaping up to be the biggest and best Dragon Ball video game experience to date. Both the contribution of DJ Steve Aoki’s musical talents and his in-game likeness will add a fun new dimension to the Dragon Ball Xenovrse 2 experience that fans will appreciate.”
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to release in North America on October 25 for both Xbox One and PS4 while the Steam version of the game will release on October 28.
