Red Dead Redemption Now Playable on Xbox One, Most DLC Free

Red Dead Redemption was one of the most-requested games for the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature, and now it is playable on the Xbox One with some of its DLC free on the Xbox Store as well. The game itself is heavily-discounted down to $7.50 thanks to the Ultimate Games Sale, and here is a list of the free downloadable content.

  • Myths and Mavericks Pack
  • Liars and Cheats Pack
  • Legends and Killers Pack
  • Hunting and Trading Pack
  • Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack

The Undead Nightmare content is also playable now, and costs $10 or you can just install the content via a disc if you own the Game of the Year Edition of the game on Xbox 360. Red Dead Redemption is one of the most-beloved open-world games ever and easily the best Western movie-style game ever made. As someone who didn’t get much of a chance to play it on the Xbox 360, I’m looking forward to sinking my teeth into it now – especially with so much free content being added to the experience. The Liars and Cheats Pack alone is great to mix things up with a bit of gambling thrown into the game
