Publisher Koei Tecmo announced at its Dead or Alive Festival 2016 that beach volleyball babe simulator Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be getting a virtual reality mode on October 13 alongside the launch of PlayStation VR.
Without details, it’s difficult to know exactly what the virtual reality support will entail, but all the same, it’s probably not that difficult. Gematsu reported that 100 lucky fans will be able to get an immersive eyeful of the beach babes early at an event Koei Tecmo is putting on ahead of the Tokyo Game Show (September 15-18) but the raffle tickets were distributed at the Dead or Alive Festival. The virtual reality support will come to both the paid and free-to-play versions of the game, but presumably not to the PlayStation Vita version, Venus.
As well, Koei Tecmo will be bringing Setouchi Keijo Training School swimsuit costumes from the Keijo!!!!!!!! anime series at an unannounced date. You can check out a preview of those below. Finally, Koei Tecmo outlined some additional updates coming to the game:
- Heart-Pounding Attention (launches July) – Have the girl’s gaze all to yourself through new items.
- Photo Paradise (launches September) – Take photos of the girls posing in various locations in this new mode.
- New Swimsuits – More new swimsuits will continue to be released one after another.
