Activision, Infinity Ward, and Raven Software have released gameplay from the very first mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. ‘Crew Expendable.’
Everyone can remember the very first level of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Crew Expendable served as the very first mission into a brave new world. Featuring stealth, action, and tight corridors, Crew Expendable gave us a good taste of what to expect from Modern Warfare in 2007. Now, it gives us a taste of what to expect from the hotly anticipated remaster.
This was the same impressive demo shown to us at E3 2016. Though short, the demo showcases many of the graphical improvements developer Raven Software is implementing. Sadly, no multiplayer. We won’t get to see any of that until Call of Duty XP, which takes place September 2-September 4.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is out November 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. The game can only be purchased as part of the Call of Duty: Infinite Legacy Editions and Digital Deluxe Editions. Due to a timed-exclusivity agreement between Sony and Activision, PS4 owners who pre-purchase one of the Digital Deluxe Editions can play the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign beginning October 5.
