Following on from the eagerly anticipated taster to Team Ninja’s upcoming brutal, challenging and satisfying Action RPG, Koei Tecmo have today confirmed that Nioh will be getting an additional Beta demo late next month. Speaking on the official PlayStation Blog, the company state that in the space of ten days, more than three-quarters of a million (850,000 to be exact) had a go of the Alpha and following soon-after, the team took what they gathered from numerous player surveys in order to improve the game-in-progress based on the feedback provided.
Players will be able to download the second playable demo via the PlayStation Store on August 23 all the way up until September 6 wherein the demo will be permanently disabled. The developer has confirmed that a new dojo stage, featuring an intense training session, will be included in the Beta — which helps players learn the basics of Nioh’s combat system — as well as a brand new yet-to-be-announced stage and a new slew of weapons. Nioh is currently slated for 2016, exclusively for PS4.
