Early yesterday morning, Playdead co-founder Dino Patti announced he was leaving the company to seek other opportunities elsewhere with the following tweet:
Following almost 10 incredible years building Playdead from an idea to two dents in the games industry, I’m leaving to seek new challenges.

With assistance from Arnt Jensen, Dino Patti helped found Playdead back in 2006 and then proceeded to oversee development of two of the most critically acclaimed independent titles of the past decade, Limbo and Inside, the latter of which was released a mere three weeks ago on Xbox One and PC. While he gave no hints as to what he might be working on next, many of those who played the Danish developer’s titles will be keeping an eye on him in the hopes that he remains in the video game industry in some capacity.
