Infinity Ward has revealed that a fan-favorite map is returning to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Terminal made its first appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The setting was an airport terminal, and took heavy infleucnes from the campaign mission ‘No Russian.’ The map was so popular that it was re-released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as a free update. Now, in 2016, the map is being remade for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Infinity Ward, at Comic-Con, revealed that Terminal will be offered as a pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. While Terminal will have the same design, the visuals and setting are receiving an overhaul. The map is now set in a shuttle port on the Moon and will accommodate Infinite Warfare’s unique gameplay mechanics.
Call of Duty: Infinite War is out November 4 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Multiplayer will officially be unveiled at the Call of Duty XP event taking place September 2-4. It’s possible that we’ll get our first in-game look at Terminal at the event.
