Many had never heard of it, but Kimochi was a downloadable game client which hoped to create a space for 18+ video games since Steam doesn’t readily accept them.
Unfortunately, the idea failed to gain enough traction (and funding) to survive. At least, that was the case until a partnership between Kimochi and Nutaku was revealed today. Nutaku, currently a browser-based digital distributor, will be rebranding the Kimochi client as the Nutaku Store.
There you’ll be able to download a number of free titles, as well as pick up 18+ editions of games such as Sakura Dungeon which are on Steam as an all-ages release.
