The Final Fantasy XV hype train continues to move forth with a theatrical film. Announced at their event earlier this year, Final Fantasy XV would not only receive a video game, but an (currently on-going) anime, feature length CG film, and various other material centered on the long-in-development universe.
While it was announced that Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV would be hitting select theatres on August 19, it will also release shortly after. Sony has revealed that Kingsglaive will be available digitally for download starting August 30, alongside a Blu-Ray and DVD release on October 4.
In addition, during SDCC, Sony has released a new English trailer for the upcoming film, hopefully getting you excited for its release in a few of weeks. Kingsglaive takes place during the events of Final Fantasy XV and features Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, alongside Game of Thrones’ Sean Bean and Lena Headey.
