Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius Breaks 5 Million in the West

Despite being out in Japan since late 2015, Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is doing very well for its debut here in the west. Square Enix has announced today that the free-to-play mobile game that takes you on a old school RPG adventure has been downloaded more than five million times since it came out just under a month ago.

To put this in perspective, Square Enix has also stated that Japan alone has downloaded it 6.5 million times since October 22, bringing the total up to 11.5 million worldwide. Granted, that doesn’t mean there’s that many people continuously playing it, but that’s still a great sign for Square Enix’s mobile department.

To celebrate, Square Enix will be giving players from July 26 to July 30 five rare summon tickets alongside 50 Metal Minituars.

Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is available right now for Android and iOS devices.
