Narrative-based games are increasingly common these days, though most take the form of visual novels or “walking simulators.” What if you eschewed convention in the form of an isometric racer set in the 70s?
You’d end up with Wheels of Aurelia. Players will follow the story of Lella, a woman travelling Italy’s coast during a fraught time in history. As the story unfolds, you’ll be able to make choices which determine what kind of fun (or danger) Lella and her car get up to.
Wheels of Aurelia is poised to hit Steam on September 20 for $9.99. PS4 and Xbox One owners will gain access to the experience a bit later – on October 5.
