Set your Pidgey alarm clocks to rise early in order to catch Pikachu starting off the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This is the 90th annual celebration of the event and Pokémon’s Pikachu is set to lead the way down the streets of New York City.
Pikachu has been an iconic figure in the parade for nearly two decades now. Since 2016 marks Pokémon’s 20th anniversary it seems fitting to allow the face of a global phenomenon to start things off.
