As promised, Capcom did show off an extended gameplay trailer for the newly revealed Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite during the Capcom Cup last night, and with it came the addition of two new, but expected, characters to the roster.
On a packed Sunday night of television, Capcom made its second appearance of the year on ESPN2, where, in addition to displaying some top-tier Street Fighter V action for its tournament, the studio showed off some new gameplay for the next entry in its storied crossover fighter franchise. In addition to the previously confirmed characters of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Ryu, and Mega Man X, the trailer below shows off some of the moves of newly added fighters Captain America and Morrigan, both of whom have appeared in previous Marvel vs. Capcom entries. The gameplay also features the new Infinity Stone mechanic, which grants the user various buffs depending on which Stone is enabled.
