Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Event Dated for January

Square Enix will hold a Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary celebration event on January 31, 2017.

2017 will make the 30 year anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise. In that time, Square Enix has release fifteen entries in the main franchise, and numerous spin-offs and sequels. It’s a franchise that has reached incredible heights, and crushing lows. A franchise that is so beloved that to this date fans still debate what’s the best game, protagonist, and antagonist. This makes it all so fitting that Square Enix will be celebrating the anniversary with an event.

The Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary event takes place January 31, 2017. No word on what will happen at the event, but it is interesting to note that Final Fantasy VII launched the same day twenty years ago. It’s possible that we may get a new look at the Final Fantasy VII Remake. It’s also possible that we might get a release date for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and details concerning Final Fantasy XV’s DLC and story updates.

Be sure to check back January 31, 2017 for all the news out of the event.
