Capcom announced today that Mega Man 1-6, the original NES run of the series, will be coming to iOS and Android. 29 years after the franchise debuted, they’ll be playable on mobile with optimization for mobile devices. Each game will be $1.99 and available on Android and iOS devices in January. Capcom hasn’t been forthcoming with exact details on just how everything will be optimized – but it would seem logical to have large buttons that you can customize the placement of and hopefully Bluetooth controller support as well. At $2, the pricing is quite reasonable – especially with the mobile marketplace being flooded with Mega Man clones. At least now, gamers will be able to get the genuine article on the go.
