Hitting the big numbers in sales is impressive for any game, and while it would seem everybody and their mom bought Minecraft, the game keeps on chugging.
Earlier today Minecraft developer, Michael Stoyke announced via Twitter the impressive sales number, Minecraft now having sold 25 million copies for PC alone. While a game like World of Warcraft far outshines that number, it doesn’t take in to account other sales. Minecraft’s mobile sales have been succeeding wildly for some time, and that’s multi-platform available, hitting the sweet number of one hundred million copies.

Still, it’s impressive that the PC sales alone are now at a quarter of sales worldwide. Minecraft has been a juggernaut in the game community since its release in 2011, and it doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.
