Rime Re-Reveal: Coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch

Rime, originally announced as a PS4 exclusive back at Gamescom 2013 before going quite has re-revealed itself as being a multi-platform game coming May 2017.

This news come from an exclusive IGN First, Tequila Works stating that Rime will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. From the look of things Tequila Works has been busy, with more Rime shown off than ever before. Rime looks like a cocktail of excellent games all blended into one. Reminiscent of Zelda, The Last Guardian, Journey, and The Witness (without the pretension). Or, in a more official description from Tequila Works:

“a single-player puzzle adventure about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, Rime paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colors and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within.”

Rime is looking to be a very different game from its predecessor Deadlight, which is the exact opposite end of the spectrum of a sunny island. More news is most certainly on the way for Rime, so stay tuned. For now, check out the new trailer below:
