Tekken 7 and New Japan Pro Wrestling Team Up With Crossover Attires and Moves

The Tekken franchise has always embraced pro wrestling – but Tekken 7 marks the first time it has officially had any kind of crossover with an actual pro wrestling company. Bandai Namco revealed that Bullet Club-themed attire will be in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, along with New Japan Pro Wrestling logo-themed shirts for the roster, and Kazuchika Okada-inspired tights for King. King will also use the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion’s signature Rainmaker lariat and wear his robe.

Okada’s Chaos group will be represented with shirts. New Japan’s most popular stable, the Bullet Club – which has been seen in North America on Ring of Honor and is referenced to this day on WWE with The Club, will also be featured in Tekken 7 with Bullet Club shirts and face masks. The timing for the announcement couldn’t be better, as New Japan’s biggest event of the year – Wrestle Kingdom 11, will be airing live in Japan on January 4 via New Japan World, the company’s streaming service.
