Fresh off of the announcement at The Game Awards that Telltale was taking on a new license in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it appears that retailer GameStop has given us a hint on when we might be able to get out hands on the intergalactic adventure.
A listing on the retailers website shows an April 25 release date for the $29.99 physical version of the game, which presumably comes with access to the season pass included with your purchase.
However, Telltale game’s physical versions tend to drop a little after the first episode of the series is available for download. With the currently release of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, who’s first two episodes premiered last week, the physical release isn’t available until February 7, a full month and a half out from the release of the first two episodes. While it’s not totally safe to speculate, this could mean that we might be able to get our hands on Telltales adaptation of the Marvel franchise sooner than its hinted April 25 physical release date.
