Developers Mez Green & Andy Campbell have been hard at work on their own first-person narrative, the latest title to take a slightly more surreal route with its World-explorative intentions. All the Delicate Duplicates tells the story of John, a computer engineer and single father whom inherits a collection of arcane objects from Mo, his mysterious relative. They’ve also announced today that the game will be available next month, February 17.
Gradually, John and his daughter Charlotte discover these objects have the potential to shift and even distort reality itself — turning a once cosey home-life into a bizarre alien-like landscape of shapeshifting objects and literal manifestations of memory. The developers claim that the story of the game will take place over a period of 19 years though whether this will run in linear, non-linear or some other bizarre structure of story-telling is unclear. All the Delicate Duplicates will be available for PC via Steam.
