Nintendo and Bethesda Softworks have confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is indeed coming to Nintendo Switch.
It was obvious that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was going to come to the Switch. It was featured prominently during the Switch reveal trailer. However, neither Nintendo or Bethesda were willing to confirm the game’s existence. That is, until today.
During the Nintendo Switch reveal event, Bethesda Game Studios head Todd Howard confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is indeed coming to Nintendo Switch marking the first time an Elder Scrolls game has been released on a Nintendo platform. However, Howard did not reveal what version of Skyrim is coming to the Switch. It remains unconfirmed if this will be a port of the original PS3 and Xbox 360 version that launched in 2011, or the remastered Special Edition released on PS4 and Xbox One this past year. Howard also didn’t discuss whether the game will come with all the DLC included.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hits Switch sometime in 2017.
