Games Done Quick Raises $2 million for the PCF

[Update: At the end of the last run the donation counter was at 2.2 million and counting]

Awesome Games Done Quick has crossed the two million mark in raised money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Every year Games Done Quick puts on two speedrunning events in an effort to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors without borders. It’s a week long event where speedrunners from around the world come together to show off their skills for a great cause.

The previous highest total was set Two years ago and was slightly above $1.5 million. This year they broke that record during the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD speedrun earlier in the day and crossed the two million mark right before the start of the last event, Undertale.

This is an amazing moment for Games Done Quick, PCF and the speedrunning community as a whole. If you haven’t heard of it or watched you still can as the finale is about to start with a speedrun for Undertale. Catching this late? You get another shot to watch/support Games Done Quick this summer with Summer Games Done Quick.
