A few years ago, 70s-80s films were a hot property to turn into video games. Scarface, The Warriors, The Godfather, and more all saw release as interesting, if not always fantastic, video games.
We may be on the cusp of this happening again now that Francis Ford Coppola and a team of developers have announced Apocalypse Now – the Game. Their pitch hopes to excite fans of Apocalypse Now into pledging $900,000 to make it a reality.
Unfortunately, there is very little of the actual game to show right now. They plan to unveil a prototype teaser during the campaign. Even if it fails, at least we’ll still have Spec Ops: The Line.
