GamePump was set to be a hybrid publisher and subscription service provider. Their plan was to bring back classic consoles games for a PC audience and offer those games initially as part of a monthly subscription package.
While GamePump as a publisher will still remain, their subscription concept has been shut down. Originally, the first game was meant to go out in January but found itself delayed. As days continued to pass, folks began requesting refunds.
CEO Robert Bowling does not feel the service would have lived up to the expectations of remaining subscribers. As such, the company is currently in the process of issuing refunds automatically to everyone.
With that said, the two free games previously promised to subscribers per the delay will still be provided as a free gift for believing in GamePump.
