Just one week after Resident Evil 7’s highly anticipated release, Capcom already has the first-person horror’s first DLC pack ready for purchase, featuring three new experiences for fans to check out.
As teased in the trailer below, Volume 1 of the Banned Footage DLC grants players access to two new replayable modes, as well as a standalone story experience. “Nightmare” and “Bedroom” both star Clancy, the protagonist of the Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour Demo, with the former providing a horde survival challenge and the latter showing what happens to Clancy after the events of the demo. Additionally, the “Ethan Must Die” mode provides experienced players with an “extra tough” challenge separate from the story of Resident Evil 7.
Volume 1 of the Banned Footage DLC is available now for PS4 owners, with this DLC and the planned second volume arriving on February 21 for Resident Evil 7’s other platforms, Xbox One and PC.
