After the news that the long-awaited (over ten years long-awaited) third entry in the Syberia series would be delayed into 2017, developers Microïds appear to have [finally] put a firm and solid release date down on their upcoming graphic-adventure title. Syberia 3, penned once again by series creator Benoit H. Sokal, will be releasing in North America on April 25 for PS4, Xbox One & PC while Europe will see the game arrive surprisingly earlier on April 20.
However, what’s more surprising — especially if you’ve been keeping tabs on the numerous announcements of games making their way onto Nintendo’s upcoming console — is that these two release dates do not cover a version releasing on the Switch. Indicating that said iteration, which was announced last month, may arrive at a later date in the year. But given the Nintendo Switch logo doesn’t show up at all at the end of the latest trailer to be released to promote the game, it at the very least raises the question on whether Syberia 3 will indeed still be coming to the Switch or not. We’ve reached out to developer Microïds for comment. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer below.
