Cyrtek has announced that their VR title, Robinson: The Journey, is available now on Oculus Rift.
Oculus Rift owners looking for a sci-fi VR adventure can now hop into Robinson: The Journey. The game can now be downloaded from the OCulus Home store and Steam for $39.99.
Robinson: The Journey puts players into the shoes of Robin, a boy stranded on a hostile planet filled with an array of dinosaurs. Players guide Robin around the planet as he tries to find a way to escape and survive some of the more dangerous dinosaurs. Players will use motion or regular controllers to scan the environment, climb, and complete puzzles.
Robinson: The Journey first launched back in November 2016 as a PlayStation VR timed exclusive. In our review, we praised the game for its visual fidelity and relatively long time for a VR title, though the mechanics were sometimes wonky. It is unknown if Crytek will port the game to the final VR platform, HTC Vive.
