Hot off the announcement of a partnership with Hot Wheels, Psyonix has revealed a few more details about next week’s Rocket League update.
The biggest inclusion in February 21’s Rocket League patch will be support for PS4 Pro owners, allowing for full 4K support across all modes and arenas. While the game will also run in 60 FPS across all arenas in single and two-player modes, a few unspecified arenas will not support 60 FPS when playing with three or four players locally. Next week’s update will also add a new fan-voted “Player’s Choice” Crate, which, when received after completing matches, will include select items as chosen by the community.
Despite the PS4 focus of next week’s patch, the update will arrive on all of the platforms Rocket League is currently available for, including Xbox One and PC.
