With its vibrant yet focused visuals and confirmation of a former Rare composer providing the soundtrack, Sumo Digital’s Snake Pass is looking more and more like the perfect 3D platformer (or at least one of notably two upcoming games) for those who long for the glory days of the late 90’s and early 2000’s for the sub-genre. And the developer has finally confirmed that the game will be available next month, March 28 in the States and a day later in Europe.
Sumo have also offered up some hints towards the actual content of the game itself; Snake Pass comprising of four main Worlds with 15 semi-open levels for players to explore, have fun and avoid falling off the edge into the dreaded infinite skybox. Alongside this, both PS4 Pro & Xbox Play Anywhere support has also been promised to be included on release. Snake Pass will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch & PC.
