Kickstarter Campaign Begun for Prehistoric Co-op Arcade Game Caveman Warriors

Member Joe & Mac? Member Metal Slug? Member being crowded around an arcade cabinet with three of your friends? Barcelona-based developers JanduSoft member all of those, and more. And now they’ve whipped up all of those member berries into what looks like one tasty smoothie in the form of Caveman Warriors, an arcade-style action platformer for up to four players, where you play as a group of cavemen who set out to rescue their children after they’ve been abducted by a batch of aliens. Now they just need a little help to get the final stretch of the game’s development completed, and that’s where Kickstarter comes in.

Kicked off with the trailer seen below that incorporates some humorous live-action bits alongside clips of the game’s colorful 2D action and a showcase of the cartoonish foes and different play styles for each character, JanduSoft has set a $10,000 goal for their crowdfunding campaign, which includes releases for Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Switch, Vita, and even Wii U releases have also been mentioned, should they also reach certain stretch goals to be announced later. If you want to learn more about Caveman Warriors and wish to help it out, you can check out the game’s Kickstarter page, in addition to its Greenlight page as well. If all goes according to plan, we should see a release around June of this year. And as this is a game where you can force your enemies to dance by hurling a two-headed monkey at them, here’s hoping it does indeed succeed so we can see more of such beauty in action.
