Originally released in 1998, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is getting a revamped edition coming to PC on March 16. Nightdive Studios is still working on System Shock’s remake, but they’re also taking the reins on Turok 2’s remake.
Back in 2015, Nightdive restored Turok to its prime for fans of the dinosaur hunting warrior Turok. The plans are to add an additional 20 new weapons, including the fan favorite cerebral bore, which was great for plastering enemies up close.
According to Stephen Kick, CEO and founder of Nightdive told WCCFTech, “We are very excited to bring this great franchise back to life,” which is a hint that the developer wants to give additional content to the game, and not just give it a graphic overhaul.
Currently at the Game Developer’s Conference, March 1, people will be able to try the demo at the Intel booth and Sky Bridges.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is due for March 16 for PC through Steam, GOG and the Humble Store. You can find the game for preorder on Steam.
