While Horizon or Zelda may be getting all of the attention this week, Sony is hoping to entice players to check out old games for free with the revealing of this month’s PlayStation + titles.
Tearaway: Unfolded, the updated and expanded version of the PS Vita platformer from the makers of LittleBigPlanet, will be joined by Disc Jam, an arcade sports title that launches on the same day that it goes free on PS+, as March’s free PS4 games. For PS3 owners, the 2D Japanese fighting game Under Night: In-Birth and cult-classic giant bug shooter Earth Defense Force 2025 will both be available for free next week, alongside isometric platformer Lumo and Severed, a unique touchscreen-focused action title from the makers of Guacamelee, on the PS Vita.
All of these games will become free to download for PS+ members next week on March 7. For more on some of the titles above, check out our reviews of Under Night: In-Birth, Earth Defense Force 2025, Lumo and Severed.
