In 2014, Sekai Project launched a Kickstarter to fund localization of the Grisaia trilogy of visual novels. We’re still waiting on the final game, but developer Frontwing launched their own campaign this week for a new series in the Grisaia world.
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger is a followup with a story that hopes to engage existing fans as well as folks new to the series. We can expect to see the first two volumes launch on Steam on April 28. This Kickstarter is more focused on granting fans a chance to own a physical copy of the game, and receive the localized manga.
Today, the $80,000 funding goal for Grisaia: Phantom Trigger was met. That means a DVD release will be coming. Their first stretch goal (set at $110,000) offers up the localized manga.
