Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the most successful boxed game launched in the UK this year so far.
The game has overtaken last week’s leader, Horizon: Zero Dawn, which drops down to second. This follows on from last year’s success of The Division — which even today remains the most successful launch for any games released during Q1.
March has been a heavy hitter in terms of big releases this year, and many believe it may have even hurt the trade, but there is no evidence of that happening at all.
This week saw two other new games hit the top ten best seller list, with LEGO Worlds and Nier Automata jumping to thirds and sixth, respectfully. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild dropped down to fourth from its second spot. One has to think that this drop may be down to the availability of the Switch in the UK, though.
