The free-to-play vehicular combat game, War Thunder, received an update yesterday. This update is called Assault and adds a new mode also called Assault which puts groups of players together on a mission to defend a position from oncoming assaults of aircraft and tanks. In addition, Guiana Highlands, a new multiplayer map, features a beautiful plateau with canyons and cloaked in fog. There will also be Bastogne and Phang Nga joining the ranks of new multiplayer maps making for a grand total of eighty.
The maps are not the only things being added as nineteen vehicles that includes tanks and aircraft have also been added to the game. War Thunder is also receiving a graphical boost with some new animations added to the vehicles. War Thunder is currently available for PC, Linux, Mac, and PlayStation 4.
