Dishonored 2 to get Free Trial This Week

Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios have revealed that they will be releasing a free trial for Dishonored 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Those who missed out on last year’s excellent Dishonored 2 will get the chance to try it before they buy. Starting on April 6, players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will be able to download a free trial that allows them to play the first three missions. Both Empress Emily Kaldwin and the Royal Protector, Corvo Attano, will be playable in the trial, and all progress made can be carried over into the full game after purchase. You’ll be able to access the trial from Dishonored 2’s store game on the PS Store, Xbox Live Marketplace, and Steam.

Dishonored 2 begins when the mad witch Delilah seizes the throne. As Emily or Corvo, you’ll travel to Karnaca, a coastal city that holds the keys to restoring Emily to power. In our review, we praised the game for it’s smart level design, color palette, and narrative. Despite the technical issues, particularly on the PC version, Dishonored 2 was still one of the better games of 2016.

Dishonored 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
