We’re more than a month into the launch of the Nintendo Switch and it may seem like Nintendo’s last console, Wii U, might be an afterthought to most people. At least one title is committed to releasing on the platform during it’s dying breath, though.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, which was released on PS4, Xbox One and PC last November, from publisher THQ Nordic was originally planned for the Wii U, but after radio silence since its release, most had assumed that it had just be silently cancelled.
However, today the company announced today that the port to the Nintendo system will arrive on May 23 with the same HD updates that accompanied other versions of the game.
In our review last year we called Darksiders: Warmastered Edition simply, “one of the best games to come out of the last generation.”
