Kirby’s Blowout Blast Arrives this Summer, Plans for New Multiplayer Game in the Works

Kirby’s big birthday anniversary is in full swing. First, he receives a cool statue, then a free co-op game and now even more announcements have arrived.

During the Nintendo Direct, it was announced Kirby will star in a brand new adventure on the 3DS in Kirby’s Blowout Blast. It acts as sort of a puzzle-platforming game where you must traverse levels and defeat enemies. Inhale as many foes as possible to grow in size, then unleash them to cause an even bigger boom. You are set to a timer and can rack up points and coins along the way. The challenges are literally bigger than ever before. Kirby’s Blowout Blast will arrive exclusively on the 3DS eShop this Summer.

But the year of Kirby doesn’t end there. It was also announced that a brand new title is in development. There hasn’t been much information yet but it is said to be a multiplayer action game. Nintendo announced it will come to the 3DS via the eShop this holiday season as well as physical retail copies.
