This weekend is Easter Sunday and many who celebrate will take part in an Easter egg hunt to search for candies and other goodies. Well, Pokémaniacs out there can take part in their own eggciting adventure while playing Pokémon GO.
Lasting from April 13 until April 20, trainers will be able to find a much greater variety of Pokémon in even the smallest eggs. Usually, Pokémon found inside eggs requiring 2 km to hatch are very common such as Pidgey or Rattata. But now, you might find something a bit more rare like Machop, Tentacool, Qwilfish and more. Maybe you’ll find Exeggcute, Togepi or Chansey, who are a few egg-related Pokémon. There is a higher chance of finding all kinds of Pokémon but you’ll need to travel the required distance in order to find out.
During the Eggstravaganza, players earn double the XP. Lucky Eggs are also discounted in the store which makes for an even bigger and quicker way to earn experience. There may not be candy inside but it’s certainly a sweet deal for Pokémon GO fans trying to complete their Pokédex.
