Remember the Ishimura. The tag line of Dead Space, Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 all now being backwards compatible for Xbox One. It’s a bold line conveying a perfect message for the Dead Space series.

As of today, via the tweet below, the entire series is waiting for eager fans. While Dead Space was already backwards compatible the addition of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 is a treat.

If you may not have visited the series before, this is an excellent time to jump on in. Dead Space, developed by EA Redwood Shores (now Visceral Games), brought the horror to Isaac Clark just trying to find his girlfriend on the Plant Cracker class vessel USG Ishimura. What he finds waiting is another story. Dead Space 2 considered the series best, made a good thing even better. Finally, Dead Space 3 wasn’t received as well by fans, having strayed from more survival horror into action. What started as claustrophobic spaces quickly turned into blowing away aliens like a classic action hero.
All in all, this shouldn’t be passed on the Dead Space series remains a classic from the last generation.
