After the Spring EU LCS Split came to an end, Splyce parted ways with former head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi. It seems fortune favors him, however, as he’s been picked up by Vitality.
Like all LCS teams, Vitality is interested in building a team that can stand the test of time. While they’re interested in quick success they would also like something that has some longevity to it. With that in mind Vitality have come to an agreement with YamatoCannon with the next three splits in mind.
Depending on his success within that time will determine whether he has a long stay with Vitality and the immediate goal is to make Summer Split Playoffs. YamatoCannon was head coach for Splyce for 3 splits earning Coach of the Split honors and leading the team to Worlds last Summer. He is known for quickly building good competing teams and Vitality hopes the trend continues.
