Larian Studios ran an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign for funding the development of Divinity: Original Sin II which raised over 2,000,000 dollars and unlocked all stretch goals. The final stretch goal, Game Master Mode, was something Larian had shrouded in mystery until now. Game Master Mode will allow fans of tabletop role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder to create their own pen and paper campaigns and bring them to life using Divinity’s unique tactical combat system. The Game Master will be able to upload their own world map, edit dungeon maps, script dialog events, and basically have the freedom to create any type of campaign they desire and play with up to four players. More details can be found in their newest Kickstarter update. Hardcore Gamer’s early impressions of this title can be read in a preview here and the impression from some hands on time at PAX here.
