With new information on the Call of Duty remastered Zombie mode maps coming out today, you’d think that we’d be done talking about the undead for a few more hours. That assumption would be silly; this is video games after all. Still, the fact that the rather decent Arizona Sunshine is coming to PlayStation VR is cause enough to get excited. Vertigo Game’s shooter, which released for Vive and Oculus Rift last year, was built specifically for VR and the quality shows through.
Taking place in a post-apocalyptic version of the US Southwest, the players will be able to mutilate the rotting flesh of zombies using motion controlled weapons and environmental hazards, all while freely exploring the environments either in the story mode, or an endless Horde mode that supports to four players. The PlayStation 4 version will also feature optional support for the Aim controller, promising the “optimal experience.” While the precise release date hasn’t been revealed, people with a PSVR have ample reason to be excited when this horror/action experience steps into the light.
